Extremely uncommon Spanish sea chart detailing the banks off the east coast of Florida from Hutchinson Island to Key Largo, the Bahamas and the mid-portion of Cuba. The chart is quite detailed and includes all the tiny islands, meticulously noted soundings, and hand colored light-houses. It was published under the auspices of the Direccion de Hydrografia by Quesado, who was the Gefe de Escuadra de la Armada Y Ministro de la Marina, updated to 1868.

A sturdy, working chart that is linen-backed. There are some pencil notations and a few minor stains and creases, still exceptional for a map of this type.
