Nice grouping of eight engraved charts includes several important ports along the coast of Haiti. Most have decorative cartouches, soundings, rhumblines and fleur-de-lys. Seven are double-page, (12 x 8.3").
1) Plan de la Baye Saint Louis dans l'Isle des St. Domingue. No. 71. Locates Fort St. Louis and the Ville de St. Louis and is decorated with nice cartouche, compass rose.
2) Plan du Port du Cap dans l'Isle de St. Domingue. No. 64. Features block-style city plan of Ville du Cap, shoals, nice compass rose.
3) Ville du Cap dans l'Isle de St. Domingue. No. 65. Focuses on the village; all streets are shown and nine important buildings are keyed.
4) Carte des Environs du Cap Francois et des Paroisses Qui en Dependent. No. 63. Features inland detail; rivers, roads, missions, topography. No cartouche, but has a fine compass rose.
5) Baye et Ville de Bayaha ou Port-Dauphin dans l'Isle de St. Domingue. No. 66. Shows fortifications on Ilet des Boucaniers. A large compass rose orients north to the left.
6) Carte des Bayes du Mesle des Flamands et de Cavaillon dans l'Isle de St. Domingue. No. 72.
7) Plan de la Rade et Ville du Petit Goave dans l'Isle de St. Domingue. No. 70. Shows the village in a block-style plan and the location of the ancient village of Acul. Fortifications are noted on an island and at the tip of Pointe des Mangles. Small hole along coastline.
8) Plan de l'Isle a Vache a la Coste du Sud de S. Domingue. No. 73. (6.4 x 8.3") Single-page map details the island, surrounding shoals, rocks, soundings and more.

All have fine impressions on thick hand laid paper with full, original margins. Most with more or less centerfold toning, centerfold reinforced on verso. Several with large watermarks.
