A charming pair of views of Edinburgh spanning the 17th to the 19th centuries.
1) Edimbourg is a lovely miniature bird's-eye view of the town and surrounding countryside from Alain Mallet's Description de l'Univers, published in 1683. It is hand colored, and measures (4 X 6").
2) View of Edinburgh from Calton Hill is a delicate, black and white wood engraving, circa 1892 (8 x 5.5").
