This superb map of southern Sweden extends to show Copenhagen in Denmark. A large inset includes the northern part of Halland with Gothenberg and Warberg. The map is richly engraved and adorned with an elaborate cartouche with the arms of Halland, Scania and Blekinge and a great scene showing a family of merfolk with a rich bounty of fish.

A sharp impression on a sheet with narrow margins, but still sufficient for framing. The top portion of the map near the centerfold has been neatly repaired with paper on the verso and some facsimile.
