A large copper plate map of the Lorraine region that is fully and beautifully engraved. Centered roughly on Metz and absolutely filled with details and information on the watershed, mountains, forests, towns, villages and numerous fortified cities. A lovely figurative cartouche includes cherubs, figures and coat of arms.
