This is a fascinating map of the region of the Eastern Mediterranean through Central Asia. The conquests of Alexander the Great are noted, as well as the travels of Apostle Paul. There are notations throughout the map, noting the "Seven Wonders of the Ancient World", depicted with tiny vignettes. Table of French text above and below the map

Excellent impression on a sheet with wide original margins. Just a hint of toning along edges. A short centerfold split in the bottom margin has been repaired with archival tape on verso.
