An interesting map of the continent with an interior that is mostly blank with some information beginning to take shape. Lake Chad is noted as Chana, and Lake Malawi (Maravi) is named in South Africa. The currents in the surrounding ocean are indicated, and the map is titled with ornate script within a block-style cartouche.
