Superb sea chart of the west coast of Africa from one of the most important Dutch sea-atlases. The Zee Atlas is one of the largest format sea-atlases published in Amsterdam during the period, and also one of the scarcest. A handsome chart with two compass roses and rhumb lines providing excellent detail of the coastline.

Great old color highlighted in gold leaf. Printed on good sturdy paper, lightly toned with short fold separations repaired by archival tape on the verso.
