This finely engraved and detailed map is surrounded by descriptive text and divided into three regions- Notasie, Polynesie and Australie. The boundaries of the regions are identified by outline color that matches the color of the corresponding text. The map shows Australia largely unexplored, but is otherwise filled with placenames. The map measures 10.5 x 7.6", and was engraved by Laguillermie rue des Noyers 56.
