A finely written page in a minute Gothic hand from a very early French Bible, the book of Zachariah, Ch. 1, which begins with the flourishing initial 'I'. The initials are drawn in blue, red and green ink, and illuminated with delicate penwork.

Condition: A

Extremely thin and fine vellum. A couple minor creases at the margins.
