An uncommon map of North America with a simple view of the western coast, based on Bonne. Alaska is shown as a group of islands, the largest is named as Alaschka. The unexplored interior west is left mostly blank, with Santa Fe shown as the only city in the interior. The decorative cartouche is topped with garland, a trident, a caduceus and a sextant.
