A rare timetable and map for the Central and Union Pacific Railroad that includes rates and schedules between San Francisco and the cities to the east. The detailed map, measuring 27" x 6", covers the central U.S. from Chicago to San Francisco and is surrounded by 22 nicely engraved views depicting the scenery along the route. Folds into self cover (3.7 X 7") with extensive time tables and advertising on verso; cover title "The Great American Overland All Rail Route via the Central and Union Pacific Rail Road Line."
