This is the second state of this map that locates settlements but does not give any county names. The western border incorrectly follows the west fork of the Big Sandy River. This edition carries no geographical changes from the first edition; only two small lines added by the engraver to the circles identifying towns. This is an early example of cartography produced in the newly formed United States.
