This attractive double hemisphere world map features a nearly complete Alaska and the other discoveries of Capt. Cook in the Pacific. Australia still includes Tasmania and part of its southern and eastern coastlines are shown with dotted lines. The map is embellished with a nice title cartouche. The map is directly derived from Rigobert Bonne and was engraved for Bachiene by M. Schalekamp.

There is some light soil, mostly in blank margins and the margin has been extended at left.
