This attractive map details the West Indies, Panama, Guatemala and the northern tip of South America. The colonial possessions of England, Spain, France, the Netherlands, Denmark, and Sweden are noted by hand color. Four scales of miles are located below the title, and a decorative border surrounds the map.

A dark impression on a sheet with faded original color. The sheet has some scattered foxing and manuscript lines under Havana and St. Domingo.
