This attractive and unusual map of the world is presented on Mercator's projection. The interesting topography is rather speculative, particularly in the American West where a number of mountain ranges converge at a point named Quelle des Missuri. The shorelines of Australia and New Zealand are fully delineated. There are notes from various explorations throughout the map.
