This attractive map of the island is filled with interesting detail of the terrain, anchorages, forts, sugar mills, salt pits, and roads. It is inset with A Map of that part of Guadeloupe where the English made their Descent, Jan. 23, 1759, which refers to the English fleet occupying Martinique.
