Very detailed and finely engraved chart shows the main islands plus the eastern coastline of Denmark and a little of Sweden. The superb cartouche features a large vignette depicting the approach to Copenhagen with ships in the harbor. It is further adorned with the royal arms and a scene of merfolk frolicking in the sea.

Condition: B+

A dark impression on a sheet with a a hint of toning. Blank margins with a few faint damp stains and short tears, not affecting the map.
