A charming woodcut panoramic view of Lisbon based on Braun & Hogenberg's earlier example. The city is shown from the sea, with galleons, rowboats, and buildings. In the foreground, seven friars or priests set out on a journey in a rowboat. A pair of galleons under construction is shown along the quay. German text on verso.

A sound sheet with a little irregular toning. The neatline has a pair of small wormholes. Hinge remnants on verso.
