A Ptolemaic depiction of the islands of Sicily and Sardinia also shows a portion of the coasts of Corsica, Africa and Italy. The seas are stippled in the Italian style, and the map is filled with ancient placenames, temples and simple topography. Latin text on verso.

Sharp impression on a sheet with some toning and worming on the centerfold. A few marginal damp stains at top.
