Colorful woodblock map on sheet of German text shows the island of Elba with the fortress, cities and boats in the sea. Three towns, Capoliri, S. Adrian and Marciano, are depicted in flames, likely representing the iron smelters for which the island was renowned. The verso has an uncolored map of Sicily and names several surrounding islands. The north coast of Africa and tip of Italy are also included.
