A beautiful panoramic view of the cities of Jerusalem, Ramla (Ramm), and Nazareth, all on one sheet. Jerusalem is shown as a more modern city, rather than one derived solely from Biblical sources. It was at this time under the rule of Suleiman the Magnificent, a Turkish Sultan, who rebuilt the wall surrounding the city. The Golden Gate is shown at the front of the building, it was sealed by Sultan Suleiman in 1541 to prevent the return of the Jewish Messiah. All three views contain figures dressed in the fashion of the local inhabitants.
