An interesting, graphic woodblock map of China features the Great Wall running across the top of the map. The map shows the ocean and the extensive network of mountains and rivers. Censors mark or title at upper corner. A most uncommon issue which we attribute to China for no apparent reason.

References:

Condition: B

Originally folding, the map is now backed with tissue to support a few splits along folds. A nearly invisible slice at one edge, precisley reattached. Close margin on one side, as issued.

Estimate: $200 - $300

Sold for: $1,700
