Large elaborately engraved sheet with numerous allegorical figures gathered in front of a large globe showing the Eastern Hemisphere. In the background, a pair of Titans are standing on the globe supporting the heavens. On the left is a sunrise with several birds, and on the right is the night sky with the moon, owls and bats known to hunt under cover of darkness.

Nice original color on a sound sheet with trimmed margins, still sufficient for framing.
