Stone engraved map shows early county development in California: the huge San Bernardino Country extending nearly across the state with no sign of Orange County. Railroads are well developed with the lines in or planned to Ft. Yuma, Needles, and extending north to Ft. Reading. A handsome double page map with decorative borders.

Top and bottom margins close, as issued. A couple of tiny spots in blank areas, centerfold split at one side just to neatline.
