Scarce issue with a very nice map of Florida (24.3 x 23") bound into the front. The map, by Geo. H. Adams & Son, has superb detail and a list of cities, towns, villages and stations with nearly 600 names. County lines are shown with red overprinting. Railroads, topography and good coastal detail are also featured on this example. The 184 pages of text are thoroughly illustrated with attractive engravings, and a simple map of Sarasota Bay followed by eight pages of advertisements completes the publication. The ads include engravings of a sailing/steam ship and a rare birds-eye-view of Deland, Florida. Published by Geo. H. Adams & Son. Complete, folio. Softbound in original pictorial paper covers.
