A beautifully engraved, richly colored map of the Windward Islands that extends from Guadeloupe to Grenade and includes Barbados. Numerous place names are shown, as are the locations of forts, churches, rivers and more. In Delisle's first edition Grenada is shown upside-down, corrected here by Buache. This handsome example includes a simple title cartouche and a very nice compass rose.

A lovely impression and original color on a sturdy sheet. There are several spots, some within the image, and some light soil in margins.
