Very attractive pair of architectural plates displaying the design of the Schoelcher Library in Fort-de-France, Martinique. Plate 69 (10.5 x 8") shows the new structure in its completed state, while a pair of admirers look on. Plate 70 (10.5 x 7.5") is a skeletal profile of the building with interior details showing through. The former was engraved by H. Toussaint.
