A beautifully engraved chart of the Azores based on Luis Teixeira's cartographic work with two ornate title cartouches and a title banner at top center. The sea is fully engraved in stipple and features a sea monster and sailing ships. Latin text on verso, published circa 1612.

References: Van den Broecke #24.

Condition: A

Lovely impression and color with wide original margins. There are a few short edge tears, not affecting image, repaired with archival tape on verso.
