A striking map of Brabant, including Antwerp, as well as Rotterdam, Roermond and Bergen op Zoom. The cartography is based on the six sheet map of Brabant by Jacob van Deventer that was published in 1536 and 1558. This map was published in 1584, as evidenced by the Latin text on verso and the page number 34.

Condition: A

A nice impression on a strong sheet with later color. The wide original margins have a couple insignificant tears, not affecting the map.
