A detailed map of the central Dutch region of Overijssel focused on Ommen. It is filled with meticulous depictions of roads, landmarks and cities. The decorative cartouche in the lower left shows two peasants surrounded by farm animals and tools of agriculture with the coat of arms of the region between them. In the sea are two small boats and a compass rose.

A dark impression with original color that has oxidized slightly. There is a paper patch on the verso repairing an invisible area of paper weakness near Hellenbergh, and some uneven toning in the bottom of the map. The blank margins have some stains and wear, and a repaired worm track at the top, not affecting the map.
