A fine map of the districts of Bentheim and Steinfurt in Lower Saxony. This finely engraved map illustrates rivers, roads, mountains, forests, cities and towns. The title cartouche is ornamented with two coats of arms and the map is further embellished with a lovely female figure, a decorative key and six small heralds, with three that are blank. French text on verso.

Truly lovely old color on a sound sheet. The map has a few faint spots. Hinge remnants on verso.
