A handsome chart of Transylvania, including present-day parts of Hungary and Romania. There is lovely pictorial detail of forested areas, mountain ranges, rivers and towns. It is adorned by a beautiful cartouche with a coat of arms and flanked by female figures. French text on verso.

References:

Condition: B

A strong impression with original color. The map has some uneven toning, a crease reinforced with tissue on the verso, a few minute cracks, holes, and a tiny hole on the left upper border.
