A crisply engraved depiction of the Peloponnese peninsula in southern Greece, extending to the Ionian Islands. It is filled with detail, including charming pictorial depictions of cities and topography. Three ships sail the sea. Poseidon in his aquatic chariot and a Greek scholar adorn the cartouche.
