Beautiful map of the Kingdom of Sicily. The map is filled with topography and towns, including Palermo, Syracuse, Messina, as well as the erupting Mt. Aetna and the circular Lake Pergusa. The map is decorated by two coats of arms, a deftly engraved compass rose, a variety of ships, and a figural title cartouche. French text on verso.

Condition: B+

Excellent original color on a map with an nice impression. The paper is sound, with some irregular toning. Lower marginal fold separation, not affecting the map.
