Handsome, large map of the Maltese Islands with superb detail of the topography, roads, villages and fortifications. The important fortifications, harbor and Valetta are particularly well illustrated with a key locating important sites. The map is oriented by a compass rose with north to the lower right corner.

A dark impression on fine laid paper. Issued folding, now flattened, with right binding side trimmed but still ample.
