A beautiful chart detailing the east coast of India, the Bay of Bengal and Sri Lanka with coastal soundings and a surprising amount of interior detail. The map is oriented with north to the right by two compass roses, and the decorative cartouche is surrounded by a group of local people holding pearls. The scale of miles is attended by a squadron of putti.

A good impression with nice original color. The centerfold has been repaired with no apparent loss.
