A decorative pair of maps of Sri Lanka, both titled in Dutch as well as French. The first map is a detailed depiction of the island with much information inland, including the mountains, rivers, and towns and villages (9.5 x 10"). The map is graced with a delicate cartouche at top. The second is a chart of Koddiyar Bay, with the fort of Tricomalee (14.3 x 10.6"). The map includes soundings and a large compass rose.
