An attractive pair of sheets with armillary spheres indicating the movement of the heavens around the Earth on the first sheet, and on the second, the movements of the earth and constellations based on Ptolemy and Copernicus. Both sets of spheres are surrounded with an elaborate rococo border topped with fleurs-de-lys.

Nice impressions on sheets with original hand coloring. Narrow, but adequate margins as issued. The sheets have scattered stains and flyspecks, and sheet 1 has a pair of repaired tears on the lower centerfold.
