A beautiful engraving of a large pair of globes on ornate rococo-style bases. The Globe Terrestre is centered on the Eastern Hemisphere. The Globe Celeste displays the constellations of Ursa Major, Perseus, Gemini, Scorpio, Taurus, Virgo and others. The map (10 x 8.5") with text panels pasted at both sides, overall size 18.8 x 11".
