Decorative map of the western part of Africa extending from present-day Senegal to Angola. The interior is filled with information, mostly spurious, including the Nile originating in Zaire Lacus. A small herd of elephants roams the interior, and the map has a cartouche and scale of miles lavished with monkeys, a cheetah, natives, a lion and mer-people.

The map has toned margins, some centerfold separation and old tape at the top edge. It is still quite sound and has nice old color and would look nice framed.
