An uncommon map of Hawaii from a report compiled by the Royal Geographical Society to accompany a paper written by Louis Désiré Maigret, the bishop of Honolulu. The map is quite accurate and extends to Niihau, with Hilo Bay, Diamond Head, Waimea Bay and the volcano of Mauna Loa noted.

The map folds as issued, with delicate blue wash color along the coastal areas.
