This fine map by G.P. Strum has abundant detail with topography and hydrology nicely developed. The legend identifies military posts, Indian reservations, completed railroads, railroad land grants, etc. It also details the granted and indemnity limits of wagon roads. The longitude from Greenwich and Washington are both indicated. Drawn by W. Naylor and lithography by the renowned firm of Julius Bien in New York City. The lot includes Senate report "Letter from the Secretary of the Interior" transmitted to the President Pro Tempore of the Senate. The report has been trimmed from the binding so its six pages are loose.
