This unusual map of the North Pole is a variant of the first state with the page number 364, the date removed, and no block of text in the lower right. Novaya Zemlya is correctly shown as an island facilitating a Northeast Passage to Asia. Above the Pole is "Parts Unknown" and three compass roses complete the composition.
