A decorative map of the eastern part of the English Channel, including the Isle of Wight. The map extends to southeast England with Oxford and London, and east to the coastal areas of Normandy. A spectacular cartouche with Mercury, Neptune, castles and sailing ships fills the Channel.

Condition: B

A dark impression with original color. There are some scattered stains in the map and margin, with a few minor printer's creases and some small patched worm holes on either side of the centerfold near the English coastline. There are some short tears in the blank margins, some repaired with paper on the verso.
