The map includes the Gulf of Valencia and the mainland cities of Denia, Tarragona, Gandia, Valencia and Tortosa and extends to show Barcelona in the extreme north. It is richly embellished with rhumb lines, sea monsters, two galleys, a sailing ship, compass roses, two coats-of-arms, and title and scale of miles cartouches. German text on verso.
