Delightful little map of the Baden-Wurttemberg region, with Ulm located at the lower right along the Danube. It is embellished with a strapwork title cartouche. The map was engraved by the brothers Ambrose and Ferdinand Arsenius who had been assistants to Frans Hogenburg and co-engravers of Ortelius' folio Theatrum. This series of maps includes text by Michel Coignet and was published by Jan B. Vrients. Italian text on verso.
References: King (2nd ed.) p. 86-87.
Condition: A
A fine impression with some minor marginal soil and a couple of short tears in the lower margin, not affecting the map.
