This large and remarkably detailed map covers the region from the Gulf of Finland east to the Pechora (Petzora) River, with Moscow located roughly in the middle. Details include mountains, rivers, forests, and scores of place names. The roads are engraved throughout, along with a number of notes on the inhabitants one would find along the way. The decorative cartouche is dedicated to Abel Ketelbey, an English barrister and politician.

Nice impression and original color on a sound sheet of laid paper. The right, blank margin has few short tears, not affecting the map.
