An interesting sea chart of the White Sea, including the Kandalsksha Gulf, Onega Bay, Dvina Bay and Arkangelsk, with the Solovetsky Islands shown much too small. The map is graced with two superb cartouches; the title cartouche shows reindeer being ridden in a pastoral scene, the scale of miles features the trumpeting Angel of Fame, as well as a number of putti, one supporting the globe on his shoulders like Atlas.
