This is a reduced version of the elder Sanson's map of the Promised Land showing the Twelve Tribes of Israel. It is decorated with a large figurative title cartouche with a group of Biblical figures gathered in front of a smaller version of the main map. Engraved by Antoine d' Winter for a pirated edition of Sanson's pocket atlas.

A nice impression on a strong sheet with a couple rust spots in the margin, not affecting the map.
